WHY START A FIRST FRUITS PROGRAM IN YOUR HOME?
Because you don’t have to figure this out alone.
That’s exactly why First Fruits exists. It’s a simple, grace-filled way to bring a few families together—to breathe, to pray, to laugh, and to grow in confidence as Catholic parents. Whether you gather as couples or as single parents, First Fruits helps you build real friendships and strengthens you in your mission as parents—right in the heart of your home.
You don’t have to have everything figured out. Take time to listen to the stories of others, and think about the story God is writing with you in your own family.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE WITHIN A FIRST FRUITS GROUP
Support for the journey—because even strong families need encouragement and connection.

FLEXIBLE AND FAMILY-FRIENDLY BY DESIGN
First Fruits includes just six gatherings a year—perfectly timed to fit the rhythms of family life and the Church’s liturgical seasons. This simple schedule allows plenty of room for work, school, and holiday breaks, while also creating space for couples and single parents to come together, get to know each other, and build friendships through social gatherings. It’s an opportunity to grow in faith together—and in community.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SIX FIRST FRUITS GATHERINGS?
Each gathering of First Fruits is designed to help you grow in faith and connect with others through the power of storytelling. One of the Guiding Principles is highlighted each time.
After the gathering, you’ll receive three First Fruits pauses within the month, one each week. Each lasts only 15 minutes. These pauses give you the chance to focus on integrating that specific Guiding Principle into your family life—as parents, for your children, and together as a family. They offer practical help for making the guiding principle a natural and meaningful part of your home life.

NO COST TO START—JUST A HEART TO SHARE
We believe every family should have access to this kind of support. That’s why there’s no cost to start a First Fruits group in your home. Instead, we host two “Pay It Forward” pledge drives each year.
We’ll send you a short video to share with the parents during those times. All we ask is that you play the video and encourage them to give whatever they can, so First Fruits can continue to grow and reach more parents with faith, hope, and support.
If some aren’t able to give financially, they can still participate by inviting loved ones—especially grandparents—to support our Grandparents Giving Circle. It’s a beautiful way for extended family to be part of the mission.
