In Catholic education, we know that the home is the first and most important school of faith. The First Fruits’ school program is a mission-aligned, family-centered initiative that strengthens the partnership between school and home by helping parents live out a vibrant Catholic family life. When parents grow in confidence and community around God’s plan for the family, children thrive—and so does the Catholic identity of your school.

The Church reminds us that the heart of a Catholic school’s identity is nurtured not only in the classroom, but in the homes of its families. First Fruits offers an encouraging and accessible way for parents to grow in their vocation and support their children’s faith journey. When families live their faith at home, it naturally strengthens the Catholic culture of the school community.

Flexible and School-Friendly by Design

First Fruits offers six thoughtfully planned gatherings per year—intentionally spaced to complement, not compete with, your school calendar. This rhythm gives families time to grow in faith together while leaving room for seasonal school events, and holiday breaks.

The school program is a framework designed to integrate seamlessly into the life of the school, not just add more to it.

Simple Format, Designed for Parents

You choose how First Fruits runs in your school community:

One large school-hosted event with breakout groups, guided by parent hosts at each small group table.
Or small groups that meet separately in homes or school, guided by the parent hosts

We provide all the tools and support. You provide the invitation.

No Cost to StarT– Just a Heart to Share

There’s no upfront cost for your school to launch First Fruits. Instead, we ask that all participating schools commit to sharing two “Pay It Forward” pledge drives each year to help keep the program free and sustainable for others.

We’ll send you a short video to share with the parents during those times. All we ask is that you play the video and encourage them to give whatever they can, so First Fruits can continue to grow and reach more parents with faith, hope, and support.

If some aren’t able to give financially, they can still participate by inviting loved ones—especially grandparents—to support our Grandparents Giving Circle. It’s a beautiful way for extended family to be part of the mission.

Some schools choose to make a school-wide donation to First Fruits in place of the pledge drives. We’re happy to support whichever model fits your community best.

This shared effort allows First Fruits to continue reaching more parents with faith, hope, and meaningful support—all at no cost to those who need it most.
